Colour & Retell: How the Raven Stole the Sun

~Bring the story to life through art and storytelling!~

This activity invites students to colour scenes inspired by How the Raven Stole the Sun and retell the story in their own words. Learners will strengthen comprehension, sequencing, creativity, and oral language skills while exploring an important Indigenous story.

Learning to Weave – Primary Level

~Students are introduced to the basics of weaving through hands-on, creative activities.~

Using simple materials such as cardboard looms, yarn, ribbon, or even paper strips, learners develop fine motor skills, pattern recognition, concentration, and creativity. Through weaving, students explore the importance of patience, practice, and storytelling while gaining an appreciation for traditional weaving practices and cultural knowledge. Activities are designed to be engaging, accessible, and developmentally appropriate for young learners.
