Ms. Cave's Inspiration

From a young age, I've always held a voice for others, even when I struggled to find my own. I carry what I call an "eccentric heart," one that deeply feels the pain within others. My personal journey has been marked by battling a rare medical disorder and mental health barriers that significantly impact my mobility, consciousness, and daily life. Despite surgeries and hopes for a "normal" life with my two young children, my illness resurfaced, pausing my in-person education.

However, this didn't stop my passion for Indigenous views, values, and teachings. I aim to continue my education through this online platform and spontaneous markets, ensuring my voice can reach anyone of any age, while learning from others too. During my health challenges, I have always found immense healing in beading and hands-on Indigenous teachings. This is why I continue to share my passion with others – to heal, to build community, and to ensure everyone feels heard. This page is not about monetary value; it's about the richness of community, connection, and hands-on Indigenous learning.

The joy of connection and growth

What I love most about teaching and sharing my creations is witnessing the genuine connection that blooms across all ages. Whether it's through conversations about hardship, weakness, or moments of pure joy, beading and hands-on Indigenous education foster a profound sense of wellness. It cultivates a new perspective of the world where relationships are at the heart of everything – with the land, people, and animals.

This understanding of learning and teaching creates a shift in thinking, moving away from what is expected to what truly brings happiness. It’s about recognizing one’s strengths and expressing creativity and uniqueness through well-being and learning. It’s a privilege to see this transformation in every individual I connect with.

Our unique approach: Free resources and community well-being

One special aspect of Ms.Caves Creations that truly resonates with people is our commitment to providing free resources. While we offer the option to purchase our handmade beadwork, we strongly encourage you to embark on your own creative journey through our available kits and tutorials. Our aim is for you to seek and understand the uniqueness in the well-being that comes from hands-on crafting, listening, and learning.

We believe in empowering individuals to explore their creativity and connect with Indigenous teachings in an accessible way. Our focus is always on fostering a sense of community and the intrinsic value of learning and creating together.

"To inspire people, don't show them your superpowers. Show them theirs."
